Dixon H. Fung has firsthand experience about the immigration process. Although Dixon is a natural-born citizen of the United States, he has gone through the long immigration process with his wife. Thus, Dixon fully understands how his clients feel and what his clients expect from him as their attorney.

Dixon had first become interested in immigration law when he worked as a volunteer in Sydney, Australia. During his time in the Down Under, Dixon met with many immigrants who had moved to a foreign country, learned a new language, and worked hard to improve their standard of living. As a result, Dixon decided to learn more about the immigration system of the United States upon his return from Australia.

Dixon earned a B.A. in political science from Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah. He then received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and served as an executive editor for the Journal of Public Law in his final year of law school.

Dixon had worked for the Law Office of Michael J. Zhang, a prestigious immigration law firm in Southern California. He had also completed an internship at Salt Lake City, Utah with the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), which is an agency within the Department of Justice and commonly known as the immigration court.

Dixon is an active member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In other words, Dixon is allowed to accompany clients to interviews with USCIS officers and represent clients in EOIR proceedings. Moreover, Dixon is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, commonly known as AILA.

Please visit Dixon's blog for news and development in immigration law.

In addition, Dixon is fluent in reading and writing English and Chinese, and can speak directly to his clients in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Please contact us today if you have any questions!
